KNUST Extends Course and Biometric Registration Deadline to February 20
1 min read

The management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has officially extended the deadline for course and biometric registration by two weeks. Originally scheduled to end on February 6, students now have until Friday, February 20, 2026, to complete the process.

According to the official memo, continuing students must pay at least 50% of their school fees to be eligible to register. This biometric verification is a mandatory step to confirm student status for the 2025/2026 academic year. Failure to complete both the financial obligations and the registration within this window will result in automatic deferment of the student's program.

Furthermore, the memo stated that no further extensions will be granted beyond the February 20th date. Students are strongly advised to use this final grace period to finalize their registration and avoid the last-minute rush or the risk of losing their academic standing for the year.
